Being a mother means prioritizing your kids and family. In fact, you don’t even think about yourself because you are too occupied on taking care of your children and you tend to forget about yourself. The moment you wake up, the first thing that comes to your mind is your children. You immediately prepare their food, school related activities, send them to school, fetch them from school, feed them, care for them, sing them a song for them to sleep, cuddle with them, and the routine goes on every single day. Of course, these are your duties as a mother but don’t get me wrong but you also have duties for yourself. This is absolutely right. Being a mother is not an excuse for you to ignore yourself. When did the last time you checked yourself in front of the mirror? When was the last time that you treated yourself for a Spa? And did you even visit your doctor lately? These important things in your life are neglected because you dwelt too much on being a mother. You can’t ignore these things because these are your support system. What if your body just gave up one day? Who will look after your kids? That is why it is important that you know how to balance your life of being a mother and a person.

So how do you manage your life? Time management is very essential. It may seem too difficult but if you just plan for it, you will see that it is manageable. You can start by setting your body clock. Waking up at 5 in the morning is actually healthy. Therefore, you can set an hour exercise every day. Jogging or other simple steps of exercise are helpful. This will help maintain your healthy body. It even assists in your entire day activities. This gives you a more energetic feeling and alert body. Also, you need to complement it with healthy foods. Therefore, healthy food is a must to your body. If you do this on a daily basis, expect a happier and healthier life.

Aside from a healthy body, you can also pamper yourself without sacrificing the time with your kids. Your children love travelling and adventure so why not bring them to an amusement park or travel since this will also let you enjoy. You will surely enjoy it. You will never think of it as a tiring activity. Another option is to bring your children to the spa if you want some self pampering since spas also offer services for children. Lastly, don’t forget to see yourself in the mirror and offer your biggest and genuine smile because you deserve it.
